Each year dozens of designs created by children are selected as winners from thousands of entries in this nationwide contest managed by Save the Children. Winners receive a $500.00 United States Savings Bond and the chance to have their designs featured on a wide range of licensed merchandise, such as ties, scarves, jewelry and home furnishings and accessories**. The child's first name, age and original title of the design is also printed on the merchandise. These items can be found in fine stores across America, including Macy's and Lord & Taylor.
